A. Treehouse Tots uses a positive approach to discipline by directing children toward age-appropriate behavior. Teachers help the children to develop self-discipline by:
Using positive reinforcement of appropriate behavior choices
Redirecting the child
Teachers model appropriate behavior
Using patience, love and understanding
Setting clearly defined limits
Talking about acceptable ways of handling situations as they arise
A. We provide a unique experience where your child is 1 of only 12 in a classroom. Since there are two teachers in each classroom, the low teacher to child ratio of 1:6 lends to safe, nurturing and personal experience for each child. At larger centers, children can in a classroom with up to 30 other children. When families enroll their children at Treehouse Tots, we truly feel that we all become one family, where parents, children and teachers all feel loved and supported.
